Completed:
knitting basket
Done and it worked really well for traveling with my socks.
training pants
I made one of the six I was going to make and I don't really like them so I am calling them done. I will come back to it if I need to.
trial shirts
I finished my test crossover tee (it came out huge) and flashback skinny tee (needs a slightly wider neck). They came out well.
New:
froggy hoodie
I have had this old pair of sweat pants sitting around waiting for this for ages. And the biggest size I could get out of the pants was 6-12 month, so I'm not sure who this is going to when it's done, but it is going to be really cute! I figured while I was sewing up all these knits I might as well get it out of my cabinet.
Still Going:
fall jacket
I am planning on finishing this up next week. I think. Maybe. Whenever I am done my knits anyway.
fall clothes
this nice pile of knit fabric is destined to become: 3 skinny tees, a shirt for me, a pair of pants, and a crib sheet. Hopefully in the near future.
sleeping johns
I needed the elastic for this so they aren't done and I forgot to take a picture.
pool robe
I bought the MADE pattern and want to make one before swimming lessons start up again. I am going to pick up the bias tape today and then I am ready to go! Which is good because I am running out of time.
tova (the good version)
I bought some voile ages ago for this and I am super excited. It will be the "real" version since the other two were just tests for size and fit and everything. I am thinking I'll make this after I finish the fall jacket.
pillow covers 2 & 3
No hurry here, I'll make them whenever inspiration strikes/I am avoiding something else
Waiting:
*wedding quilt - this is not at all a priority right now, but I don't want to forget it
*baby quilt -inspiration has struck...once I have time to put it together
*baby echo quilt - I decided I want to use my scraps, but I'm not quite sure how yet...
I am hoping this will all go pretty quick and then I can start thinking about christmas gifts. I don't know yet how much I will make this year, so I want to figure that out and start gathering what I need. I guess that depends on whether I get distracted by anything else in the mean time, which I am not ruling out. For now I just keep going down the list and trying to get all this done.
I love your knitting basket. I've had some fabric baskets on my to-do list for a while now -- gotta get to them!
ReplyDeleteLove that knitting basket!
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed with all of the clothing you are making. You are so much braver than me - I haven't gotten up the courage to venture in that direction yet.
ReplyDeleteThat knitting basket is fab and the training pants are super cute :)
